Mr. David Verity

CEO | Anomaly Music Group

Sometimes, there are exceptions to all the rules.

Singer. Songwriter. Composer. Multi-instrumentalist. Record producer. Executive. Visionary.

In the world of modern music, where most artists follow trends and conform to mediocrity, there are few exceptions. Every once in a very great while, however, there emerges an anomaly amongst that status quo – someone who redefines an entire genre, defies the expectation of conformity, and denies mediocrity. They set precedents and break records. As a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, recording engineer and record producer, David Verity is a prima facie example of an Anomaly such as this.

Verity means “Truth.” This surname and double-entendre is a testament to the organic and self-taught nature of his musical talent, and, perhaps more importantly, is a testament to his unyielding dedication to high character, integrity, and morality. It is this dedication to these principles that formed the foundation of his consulting company, Trinhoval Business Strategies, with Trinhoval standing for Trust, Integrity, Honesty, and Values.

By the time he graduated high school, which he did with academic and artistic honors – a feat acknowledged via certificate signed by the president of the united states, he had a #1 song on Billboard’s former online music chart, had MTV camera crews at his house for a MTV / USA joint venture show, Farmclub, where Jimmy Iovine’s A&R’s at Interscope Records selected him as the top prospect in the country, in any genre. He was the #1 R&B artist on MP3.com, released his own CD via the internet worldwide, and had performed in concert on the biggest stage in the world – The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV. He has alongside countless R&B stars, and was personally selected to perform in honor of James Brown’s Lifetime Achievement Award. A brief tenure with Motown Records had him in talks with NextSelection’s Ryan “R-Les” Leslie and Corey “Latif” Williams about a tour, but those talks ended with the resignation of Motown CEO Kedar Massenburg that year.

His knack for songwriting has yielded multiple international songwriting nods, such as The John Lennon Songwriting Award 2 years in a row, in 2 different genres, The USA Songwriting Award among others. Since then, he has worked alongside several Grammy-award winning artists, writers, and producers, like Toby Gad (John Legend, “All of Me,” Fergie, “Big Girls Don’t Cry,”) Marvin Moore (“Maria Maria, feat. Carlos Santana,) and many others. His work producing for other artists has landed them major deals with companies like MySpace Records and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ Bad Boy Records. Other artists whose careers he molded landed them in the offices of major record labels, including and not limited to Geffen, Atlantic, and Def Jam.

A visionary and entrepreneur, Verity signed a distribution deal with Universal Music Group via InGrooves for the distribution of his own independent record label, Anomaly Music Group, as well as an International licensing deal with Japanese mega-corporation JVC. He recently headlined a concert at the Hult Center featuring R&B megastars Ginuwine, Eric Bellinger, Jon B, and Q. Parker of 112, which was a benefit for homeless veterans in connection with ‘Housing Our Veterans’, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization, for which he sits on the board. The show was recorded live by Jamhouse Live and is set for international Pay-Per-View distribution in the coming year.
